The objective of "Tampa's Zoo Advocates" is multi-faceted.
We would first like to engage in a dialogue with the Administration of the Zoo towards identifying specific animal and employee welfare issues that require improvement. As numerous members of our group are current as well as former employees of Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo we feel we have a unique and realistic perspective of the needs of the animals and staff of the Zoo.
Our objective is not simply to identify these specific animal and staff welfare issues that require improvement. Our group looks forward to lending our talents and resources towards actually resolving these important issues that directly effect the quality of life for the animals and staff of the Zoo.
